A fun time regardless of you are shopping for food, flowers or just killing time. We were at shed five for a charity event. Wanted to check out the vodka distillery but the rain prevented that.

Lots of buildings to walk through with all kinds of options - fruits, veggies, flowers, popcorn, honey, etc. Lots of restaurants around. Parking is a little tricky to find a spot, otherwise it’s a good way to pass some time.

This is a must for anyone visiting Detroit. The selection and variety of items was truly amazing. There are 4 buildings and then some surrounding businesses. A few vendors and food trucks were outside. Buskers were entertaining. Very Festive. The prices were reasonable.

Everything you could ever ask for in a community venue. Fresh locally grown food, flowers and organic produce. Music & cultural vibe is amazing. I always come here when I travel to the Midwest.

Eastern Market Detroit Michigan is a central gathering place for locals amd tourists and has a great country market vibe in the city. We passed thru on our way to and from Nashville. Wish we could take fresh produce across the border.

We visited near the end of the day so selection was minimal. There were still deals to be had though, with some vendors shouting out sales giving it a lively atmosphere.

The market is open every weekend (even during the weekend - there are fewer vendors during the winter). There are also several permanent brick and mortar shops right there to buy meat, seafood and produce.
