Eclectic Detroit gem

It's something you don't see everyday, it's strange but totally fascinating. A lot of art in one place, definitely recommend it!

It's an interesting concept. Art made with other people's trash. It's something different to visit and I'm sure you will enjoy it.

Growing up in Long Island, New York, if I were to see something like this near my neighbourhood, I would appreciate the unusually trashy styling of the displays, perhaps suppressing the confusion as to from where the spirit of the display was coming. In the context of a very run-down neighbourhood in the decaying city of Detroit, this felt very... More

This is one of the COOLEST things that I have ever experienced. What beauty was formed from "trash". Everyone must visit here once in their life, this entire street is so unique and has so much to say!!!

I used to live in Detroit. My daughter showed be this spot and I was pleasantly surprised. A symbol of the resilience of the City and how one can create beauty out of nothing.

Highly recommended for photographers and art enthusiast who enjoy the "wabisabi" style of Detroit. However, I wouldn't call this a tourist attraction for the masses.

Special kind of art. The artist got tired of seeing vacant houses and vacant lots and decided to make the eye sore artistic

Brought my nephew here today, because I think the place has such a great story. There is so much story to all of the pieces around. So much history, so much amazing spirit felt on the whole block. It's bewildering to the eyes to see. There is so much to take in but you can see how something small, led... More

Eclectic. It makes you aware of our Detroit environment. You might run into Tyree. Get a tee shirt. It may be the only thing left after he tears it down

Visiting from Toronto, I wanted to see all of Detroit - the good, the bad, and (like the Heidelberg project is an example of)- the Uber talented and creative genius that Detroit citizens have birthed. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful Fall day and even to get to meet the man who started it all Tyree along with... More
