I visited this place when I was a child. I loved it then and I love it now. My children always enjoyed going and now I'm taking my granddaughters. It's a definite favorite of our family. It was a nice surprise to see that they have renovated the facility. It is just beautiful inside.

My husband and I got married at Longway over the summer. We had been to a couple of shows, including their Valentine's Day dinner under the stars and the Pink Floyd show. Fun for adults and kids alike.

This is the perfect place for star gazers. Different types of light shows depending on the season. Awesome musical background. Learned a lot

Really nice experience, good lobby, fine show, top notch fulldome (only) technology. While it did not have a modern opto-mechanical planetarium projector, the video did a fair job of showing the stars, and did the usual spectacular flights through the universe, etc. at least in 4K resolution.

The planetarium now has the largest dome in Michigan and a state of the art Digistar 5 projection system. Even the seats are new since the renovation this spring. We saw Dark Side. It was great. Also free parking.

If you think you will be a regular patron here, it is far more fiscally responsible to purchase the Family membership. November is the membership month where prices are lowered. Our family of 6 visits the Longway Planetarium several times per month for star shows Laser Floyd, and the special shows offered there. During the Summer we take the kids... More

We visited on a Wednesday afternoon the first week in September and were the only people there, which is too bad because it is worth a visit. There are several interesting items in the lobby, but the main thing is the show in the auditorium. They have about six different shows, but not every show is shown every day. We... More

The new laser isn't as bright as it used to be. Which is good...no sun glasses required now. Great show!

On a family trip to Flint, I did a little research and saw great reviews for the planetarium kids show (Accidental Astronauts), so we went. I'm glad we did. The staff is friendly, the planetarium was clean and the show was perfect for my 5 year old. Make sure you stay for the roller coaster show after the main feature.... More
