Given the options for culture in Flint are limited, I guess the Whiting is ok. We came to see Hal Holbrook in "Mark Twain Tonight". The lobby was clean, but very dated. They offer a coat room and a bar where you can get drinks prior to shows and during intermission. They appear to have a special drink for various... More

Not a very big venue but the acoustics are great! The seating is very comfortable, even for bigger people.

Watching anything here is a plus because of there small size. Seating is comfortable and enough leg room for folks like me over six foot tall.

It isn't the Fox, in Detroit, but the acoustics and resonating sound are beautiful and rich. The seating needs updating, but overall, any event will be fun. Attendees may feel at a slight distance from the stage in some areas. Also, the odd seating in the side balconies can cause height shock to some. However, it is reasonably suited to... More

If you watched the Democratic Debate on March 6, you saw the Whiting. This is a beautiful multi use facility that has been a staple of the Flint area for more than 40 years. As a kid I went here to watch travelogues -I performed the nutcracker here (and it is still done) I had choir concerts here, my graduation... More

The Whiting provides a variety of shows and events. All seats are comfortable and the acoustics are wonderful. There are special accommodations for a variety of disabilities. Flint is blessed to have a venue like this.

Discovered this place while at the farmers market in flint, we purchased tickets to see Joseph and the amazing technicolor dream coat. Excellent venue and the performers were top notch! Highly recommended a date night out

I have been to The Whiting many times throughout the years and always enjoyed it. In December of 2015 we went to see the Nutcracker. We had fantastic seats. The only problem is my husband is handicapped and needs a walker to walk. He was allowed to use it to get to our seats and they took it from him... More
