Downtown is being revitalized

Every time we go downtown there is something new being added. The new Farmer's Market is way above average. New businesses opening all the time. Downtown is coming back!!

I was there for a bit as part of a greater family visit. It's nice that Saginaw Street in downtown Flint is rebounding after decades of depression. It honestly never looked better, and I wish I had more time to check out the new business -- I only managed to do Halo Burger since my lady wanted it. However, I'm... More

What have these bricks seen? Storefronts have changed, and activity has changed, but downtown is still vibrant. For a few years, crime ruled these streets. Now, with the return of business and people, and with the immense help of UM-Flint, downtown has come back. These streets once again have life, and it appears this time it's to stay.

Flint has really been putting time, effort and money into Saginaw Street. The Main Street looks wonderful whether there to attend Back to the Bricks or to be a part of the CRIM Festival of Races. The classic cars stand out on the classic bricks that line Saginaw Street. When participating in the CRIM Festival of Races, there is nothing... More

Flint has done a really good job in revitalizing their downtown. Several buildings have beautiful architecture and they have worked hard to protect those buildings. There are now several restaurants, bars, and shops. Worthwhile for you to visit if you are in Flint.

When the classic cars come to Downtown Flint, it is a sight too see. The old cars that are historical, still driveable, and all the difference types of cars. Come and see for yourself and you can get a first hand experience. The owners of the cars take well care of them, have the passion to take on a task... More

People are working very hard to revitalize downtown. Several excellant restaurants. The Friday night art walks are fun. Only problem is the brick work close to the river is very rough.

Contrary to the negative statements people say about Flint, it is a great place to gather with friends. Be it starting out with a great burger at The Torch, then heading over to The Cork for a glass of wine. Any ending up at Churchill's! Always something to do in Flint.

Sorry you missed 2014's BTTB, but it will be back next year, so save it on your calendar! There were many classic pre-WWII cars, as well as 50's 60's 70's and newer, including over 400 Corvettes, and 200 Mustangs and Camaros. This show is for anyone who loves all things CAR, there are dragsters and gassers, Script A's and Rat... More
