Although this place is little more than a sign and a chain link fence, it was a unique chance to see elk at fairly close distance. They seem to have somewhat of a range, as we tried to visit once and did not see any,...More

If you want to see Elk this is the place to do it. Elk are fenced in & fed onsite by the city.. FYI we were there 7/2017 and didn't see any Elk. Sometimes they move them to the back fields

The herd of 30ish elk and a dozen Fallow deer are certainly an out of the ordinary sight. We were fortunate to visit while the herd was peacefully grazing near a viewing fence line. The animals are magnificent! The bulls were in velvet and there...More

What a majestic creature to see. The Elks are protected by a fence, but you can still relish in their beauty. Make sure to take the kids to this place.

We had some trouble finding. We just went to the parking lot and waited about 10-15 minutes. Nothing! We were just passing through and I thought it would quick and interesting. I guess not!

We stopped here today and there were a ton of elk right near the fence of the viewing area. Alot of them are starting to get their antlers. There are signs everywhere that say do not feed the elk... Some woman with her toddler decided...More

We stopped here with our grandson. This time we've seen more elk than before on previous visits. This is really neat to see these animals, and no you can not feed them!
