We spent a few days in Gladstone, MI and were looking for some exercise. I checked Trip Advisor and found several reviews of this hike. We found the "pathway" very easily and the parking area was quite ample, you do need a Michigan Adventure Passport to park there. The trail itself wandered through both commercial and natural forested areas with... More

Very nice trail system for any time of year. You can walk it in the summer and snowshoe or cross country ski in the winter.

These trails are beautiful in the summer for walking and in the winter for skiing! We snowshoe next to the trail and love it in the winter! The views of the river are beautiful.

This trail only gets better! An outhouse has been added and improved signs mark the trail more clearly. There are a lot of users on weekends but it's never crowded. The first loop is 2.2 miles and gently sloped . I frequent the 3.5 loop #2 that has a few steep hills. It's a decent workout and really beautiful.

I live about 3 miles from this trail, and use it often. It is used frequently by walkers (often with dogs), runners, and mountain bikers in season, and when we have enough snow, for skiing and snowshoeing. The trail is moderately hilly, more so on the back loops, and there are a lot of tree roots on the trail. It... More

This trail is close to Rapid River and Gladstone and wonderful for hiking, biking and cross country skiing. There are 4 loops and you can spend a long time deep in the woods. Learn to read the trail signs first! I use this trail several times a week.

This place is great any time of the year. We have hiked it, skied it, snowshoed it, and just enjoyed it. The only minus is that there is not many places to sit down, so if you need to rest you will just have to sit on a stump. Also bring your own water. There is no place to get... More

They have great hiking trails. I only visited there the once, but I spent the better part of an afternoon hiking with my friends without doubling back across our own trail. They also have some rest areas scattered about with picnic tables and firepits.
