We were going to the Dutch Museum in Holland Michigan, but the day we were there it was closed. The Gerald R. Ford Museum was a great second choice. Come to learn all about Gerald Ford. Not a huge museum but it is packed with videos and the life and times of Gerald R. Ford, the 38th President of the... More

Excellent part of history. Although his term was short, it is a very critical part of the United States history.

I always learn something new about our history and the way the Fords influenced it. The new renovation was beautifully done! Be sure to see the final resting place for President and Mrs Ford outside the museum! Very simple and profound.

This was an excellent museum. It has so much history about Ford and his life, from youth, to congress to his nomination as VP, watergate and then his presidency and death. This is part of the national presidential museums, all of which are must see!

This museum is a fitting tribute to an amiable chap who found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and became a POTUS one day. The displays follow Mr. Ford through childhood, Boy Scouts, college and football, law school, the Navy in WWII, and then into political life. The building is easy to access off of 131, has... More

Large, well described tour, and informative exhibits regarding this president, but also the machinery of the Office. Several authentic documents from a essential chapter in our nation

This was our 11th Presidential Museum so we now have a good base upon which to compare. Ford's early life was covered only by photos and explanatory placards. After he was appointed President, however, the artifacts were available to display. It was a good museum in that I learned a few key features of his life that I was unaware... More

This was my first presidential museum that I have ever visited. It was so much fun and there was so much to do. This is a must to if you are visiting GR.

As a child during the Presidency of Gerald R. Ford, I can't say that I ever really learned that much about him. He never really stood out as having done anything very prominent. My visit to the Gerald R. Ford Museum proved otherwise. This museum is a beautiful tribute to a man who gave most his life to the betterment... More
