Had a great time at the Def Leppard concert! The staff is always right where you need them, when you need them. Good variety of food and drinks. Fast bathroom lines. I always have a great visit at Van Andel!

Bathroom situation in dire need if upgrading and adding. Otherwise nice B grade AHL experience. Prices for beer and snack consistent with other arenas.

We've been to a couple of concerts here and we love this venue! It's small enough to be "personal" The seats are comfortable - although a center isle would help. (the rows are very long)

Seen Def Leppard here, was good show and good sound but staff did not handle agressive concert goers very well.

There are three downtown hotels connected to the Van Andel Arena via skywalk enclosure for inclement weather. No need for a coat or umbrella should you choose this route. The closest would be the Courtyard Marriott... More
Is there anywhere I could go to try and catch a glimpse of the performers before they enter the arena?
