We went on the historic tour again this year. This is a lovely area. You don't have to do the tour to enjoy the homes. It's lively simply just to take a stroll.

The architecture and genius behind each of these gems always amazes me, and no two homes come close to being the same. These are truly treasures of this fine town.

There are some interesting older houses, that someone who is interested in 20st century buildings might find worthy of a walk

Really liked the architecture in this area and found the map provided on the website to be helpful (though there was road construction that prohibited us from seeing some of the homes). Wished we could have seen the Frank Lloyd Wright house but it was...More

We just parked on a side street and walked the area. The Castle is gorgeous. Felt safe walking and exploring.

Much effort is going into restoration and preservation of this district. The homes are unique and their landscaping is gorgeous! Pick up a map (we got one at the Meyer-May house) so you don't have to try to squint at a tiny one downloaded to...More

The architecture is varied and beautiful. Lots of single family homes. Frank Lloyd Wright home to tour and others to see. Great walking tours!

This is a very interesting neighborhood/tour of old houses in the historic district. We went on Memorial Day and nothing was open, but you can get tours of some of the houses. I think that includes one of the Frank Lloyd Wright houses. We downloaded...More
