I loved all of the wines I tasted; about nine or ten. Low prices make it perfect. Going to stay here next trip up north. Harry

The owners are really working on creating a gem here, but it definitely will take some time. Our room was pleasant, however, very dated with dust on the TV stand and shelving throughout. In saying that, the people are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast both mornings were delicious, and they have wine and snacks out during the day. The... More

I visited the winery on Saturday August 22nd with a group of about seven. The wine tasting room has several tables and a bar. We sat at a table and then later moved outside as it was a nice day. They have a nice patio with tables too. I believe the tasting was only $5 each and I did buy... More

My friends and I were a little concerned when we walked into the tiny, unassuming tasting room at Pleasantview Winery. We've been accustomed to some of the fancier places in the Traverse City area and didn't know quite what to expect of this. When Dr. Jerry Perrone came in to give us a tasting, we weren't concerned for long. Although... More

Jerry, the owner, does a great job of explaining wines. We found several we liked and bought. The bed and breakfast is a value, reasonable price, very clean and good food.

We barely made it up the driveway on a cold rainy spring day. Jerry was very entertaining and taught us a lot about the new American cold hardy varietal grapes. He said we were "virgins" until tasting his grapes that he refers to with feminine qualities. The B & B sounds pretty interesting and quite inexpensive. If you are in... More

Our stay was short because we were only there for a one-day soccer tournament. However, the hours that we spent at the B & B were enjoyable. Our visit started out with wine tasting. Jerry, the animated/spirited owner, educated us on the different wines/grapes/history/processes, etc. The wine was tasty; the room was very clean; the bathroom was clean and large;... More

Our party of five was in for a treat when we had the proprietor of the winery/b&b as our host for our wine tasting. He taught us a lot about the history of the grapes, Michigan planting, etc. The tasting was a good value at $5 per person, which included the glass, and multiple tastes. Unfortunately for us, but fortunately... More
