We live close to the hill, so my review is a little slanted in that it only takes us about 10 minutes to get there. What a strange year, with the entire mountain opened early in December, and closed for some days in February. Overall the season was pretty good for snow. They do a fantastic job of making snow,... Great place to Ski and if you don't ski, its a great place to have a drink and eat some food. Sit back and enjoy the view. Do what I do, carry in a pair of Ski's have a drink you'll fit in great. :) Ok I don't do that, but the view is beautiful and the people are awesome.

We chose to ski at Mt Holly on New Years Eve with our teenage daughter and her 2 friends. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and number of runs. It was certainly more than we expected for a ski resort on th northern fringes of Metro Detroit. We live in Windsor, Ontario and it only took us 1.25 hours... More

By far the best ski resort in southeast Michigan, there is something for every level of skier / snowboarder here. They have a large beginner area with two magic carpets and easy on easy off chairs for the beginners. The intermediate area is served by a high speed quad chair which gets you back up the hill for more runs.... More

I live just down the road from the hill so the location is convenient. Now this does not compare to Boyne or Nubs but for the distance of drive it is nice to hit the slopes for an hour and head home.

Although the physical structures were aging, it seems well kept. There were loads of staff busy keeping everything in order. There were lounges aplenty for me to wait for my teen in, tho I wish there was one without music blaring. Nice overall experience.

I haven't been to Mt Holly in years and I was itching for some skiing. Mt Holly is really nice and set up well. The lodge is nice and there is a bar/cafe to get drinks and food during breaks. They have some nice run for both skiing and snowboarding and even a terrain park for tricks. They feature two... More
