It's "Da Yooper..." ("Pull Over!!)" On the way to The Lake Linden Camp Ground on our motorcycles in September 2016, my riding buddy Terry Bichard and I noticed these two characters in the picture (I'm in the middle) doing maintenance on The 'Yooper Tourist Trap.' On the left, I give you, from "Da Yoopers" famous singing/comedy/'questionable-taste' music group, Jim "Bella"... More

This place is so fun! It's a yooper stop, great toys for kids, and gifts for the family. Even funny jokes for those who are witty!

This is the type of place I usually drive by, but something said pull into the parking lot. It was 8:30 in the morning and I assumed they were closed, so no harm. They were open! One might call the large items outside quirky or bizarre, but most are actually real items. From the chevy snow plow, to the truck... More

The outside creations are interesting and fun to see. Many of the items inside the gift shop are humorous. It was a good time!

We stopped because, how couldn't you, with a sign out front that says Da Yoopers Tourist Trap? We like to look for quirky places as we drive and this one certainly fits the description. It reminded us of "Ozark humor" with an Upper Peninsula spin. Overall though, while some of the yoopers humor is clever, there isn't much there other... More

This a is great stop if you like "da' yoopers." It's funny and you can see some the things they talked about in their CDs. It's also got a very nice gift shop and two bathrooms.

Best place to be able to see unique inventions, a taste of the culture, as well as a good laugh. Well laid out, and available all year around, (except the yard because of the snow.) So funny, and so heart warming. Plus you can check out Rock Knockers to pick up some interesting stones.

We've stopped here numerous times over the years and have always gotten a laugh at the Yooper humor. The gift shop has some good things and is worth the stop

Been going by here for years but haven't stopped for a couple years. What an improvement!! We had 3 of our grandsons with us 9, 11 and 11 and they had such a great time and so did grandpa and grandpa. The attractions were very unique and very entertaining for all. I would recommend everyone to stop and get a... More

Da Yoopers is a regular stop for us when near Ishpiming. There are fun inventions outside to your and stretch your legs. There is a big collection of rocks and minerals in a front building and an unmatched collection of Upper Peninsula touristy stuff to shop Love it every year
