Nice little getaway!

14+ miles of hiking trails for all skill levels. Fair admission ($7 per adult). We spent a couple of hours wandering the easier trails along the creek and river. The visitor center is a bit dated but has some nice information about local wildlife. Tons...More

Family Outing

Our visit

Beautiful place and beautiful scenery. Friendly and helpful staff. Love being in nature and seeing all the sites. They really take good care if the place and care about it.

Wonderful Nature Arboretum

The sprawling grounds offer mikes of nature trails where you’re likely to see dozens of animal species, ranging from deer to owls to snakes. The terrain varies from glacial ridges to river valley, to prairie. The knowledgeable staff always add value to a visit.

Fun Day Hiking at the Kalamazoo Nature Center

We went to the Kalamazoo Nature Center and were unsure of what to expect. The woman at the desk was very helpful in recommending trails. The difficulty level is reasonable and accurately depicted (easy was easy; medium was medium)

Beautiful trails
