Farmers Alley is working toward becoming an Equity theater. They have fun programming and bring in some terrific professional guest stars, which they supplement with some of the most talented actors from Kalamazoo's vibrant theater community. The do everything from the obscure {title of show} to blockbusters like "Spamalot" equally well.

Nat Zegree brought the house down with his Jerry Lee Lewis persona, and those who played Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Elvis had the audience in the palm of their hands. Amazing coming together of musical competence and acting abilitiy.

Each year the have a holiday show. Shows are different but they offer hot chocolate, coffee, dessert as part of the admission. We have been there for the past two years and look forward to this year's offering. An intimate setting. Great performances. Just a fun, enjoyable evening. Get your tickets asap. They sell out.

I have seen a dozen plays at Farmer's Alley and ALL have been first rate. In fact I saw Next to Normal on Broadway and found the singing and acting every bit as good in the Farmer's Alley. The only part that wasn't quite up to Broadway standards were limitations due to the rather low ceilings at the Alley. Their... More

Saw "Forever Plaid" and "Singing Siblings" on two different nights. Each was very enjoyable. As mentioned, this is a small, intimate theater. Drinks are available. Often local talent and very professional. All seats good. Will return for other productions.

We've been going to Farmers Alley for 3 years now. Always have fantastic productions. The Secret Garden was quaint; Little Shop of Horrors was a hoot; Cabaret was beyond belief. The Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical was rolling on the floor funny (warning: some jokes a little off-color). This tiny little theater is a hidden gem - small bar... More

A very small, very comfortable, theater. You'd swear you were part of the action. Little Shop of Horrors was far beyond my expectations. And it's walking distance from all the wonderful restaurants on the mall. Dinner and then a show!
