Chateau Fontaine is the most amazing place you can go for wine. They take their time to explain all of their wines, pour free and generous tastings. Their wines are fantastic! Owners Lucy and Dan are the sweetest people ever!

We were given a wine tour as a Christmas gift from our youngest son and family. We went with our oldest son and his wife and that made it extra special. Great winery. It was our first stop and they gave us the glass. Bonus!...More

Chateau Fontaine stands out among Leelanau Peninsula wineries. Good wines, excellent tasting experience and a cheese ball to compliment the Chardonnay - very yummy. If you are looking for an overall good, local experience, stop here. And if you're lucky, you will get a visit...More

This past Friday we stopped in to the winery on the recommendation of a Traverse City friend. We were not disappointed. We were new to the wine tasting experience and visited seven wineries in the area and this was by far the best. We tasted...More

I call Chateau Fontaine a hidden gem winery. The owners are personable. The staff is knowledgable. The tastings are free. You won’t leave empty handed. I enjoy every wine there. They offer great discounts when you buy cases of wine.

This is a nice family run winery, I have been coming here for years and it just gets better, the atmosphere and the wine

Chateau Fontaine is our favorite winery in Michigan. We always buy a case twice a year. Big paw red is our favorite table wine and the price is very reasonable. We also love their cheeseball that is served with tastings to cleanse your palette.

This is one of the top 3 wineries that I have been to. They serve 10 samples for free, have a cool little gift shop and friendly people there. We were even able to meet the owner and his dog. This may even be one...More

We really liked our tasting here! The winery is a lot less corporate than others in the area. The tasting room is simple, but clean and pleasant. It has a family atmosphere. The focus here seems to be on the wine, rather than tourism, which...More
