Though the loop for tents only was small, it was peaceful and quiet. Nice facilities and sites were plenty big for car, tent, and space to relax. Good trails along the sandy coast of Lake Michigan with great views of the dunes, lighthouse and water.

Tons of sand dunes, lots of beach area, nice bath house with an activity/learning room upstairs. Get adventurous and walk the shoreline to the lighthouse or use the inland trail to the lighthouse. If you're up for a challenge, definitely climb the dunes.

There are 3 campgrounds tat accommodate all types of campers including pull through. I'd go on the reservations site and fill in your info to see what's available. We saw lots of larger units!
