The ferry takes passengers, autos, RVs, tour buses, motorcycles, bicycles, and commercial trucks across Lake Michigan between Ludington, Michigan and Manitowoc, Wisconsin from mid-May through mid-October.

It docks at 7pm. I would say be at the park at 6:30pm and you can watch it come down the canal, turn around, and dock.

We are very busy in July. If you are taking a car on your trip you definitely should have a reservation.

We arrived at 7:45 am and were the first ones in line. They don't let passengers board until 8. The entire boarding procedure went quickly without glitches
