My Wife and I enjoyed the cruise across Lake Michigan to Wisconson when we went to the Dells this Summer. The staff are so friendly and efficient. I love the old ship and all of it's updates. It's a good experience. Much nicer trip than the one out of Muskegon.

A great way to travel across the lake! We took the Badger from Ludington to Manitowoc, about a 4 hour ferry ride. Relaxing trip!! A great way to avoid Chicago!!! If you are taking a motorcycle, make sure you bring along tie-downs (as described on the Badger website). Be prepared to do a U-turn on deck to position your bike...it's... More

The Badger earned National Landmark Status this year, which is proudly painted on her seagate! We went on the two Manitowoc Shoreline Cruises and one round trip to Ludington. First of all, the food is very, very good. You can tell it's homemade. The Shoreline Cruises are a fun way to spend an afternoon out on the lake. There is... More

We put our RV on the ferry to avoid the traffic near Chicago and it was worth the money. In spite of 4-7 foot waves, we relaxed and enjoyed the ride. They provide entertainment in the form of bingo and movies, if one decides to participate. The ferry only departs once a day so you must plan your trip around... More

A very calm, morning, float across Lake Michigan. Relaxed on the deck with a good cup of coffee and and a book. Return trip was cooler but the lower levels offers many amenities to fill your time.

It had been several years since I sailed on the S.S. Badger, so I thought it was time to ride across Lake Michigan once again. It was so much fun. Everyone was friendly, and that includes the people that check your bags etc before you get on board. There are plenty things to do while riding across the lake. It... More

My husband and I decided to cut off a little driving time on our trip from British Columbia to Ontario via The States. We had made the trip around Lake Michigan several times so this time we took the SS Badger across. It was a pleasant trip offering a couple of free movies and bingo, an arcade, kids room, etc.... This is our second trip on the S.S. Badger on our way to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The ride was smooth and uneventful - which is the way you want it!! An all time favorite is to play Badger Bingo - the crew is very entertaining! Also, had the chance to catch a movie and eat popcorn!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the SS Badger across the lake. We made one trip around the boat then went inside as it was colder than all get out!! We enjoyed playing Bingo and had lunch offerings from the cafeteria. Nothing fancy. We would have enjoyed going to the buffet upstairs but we were having too much fun playing... More
