We loved it

Probably one of the best tours we've been on. The guide was knowledgeable and the jokes were corny but still funny. Perfect mix of history and haunts.

We went on the 9pm tour on Saturday, October 22nd. Which we thought would be perfect. The guests all over downtown were dressed up in Halloween costumes and perfect cool but not cold weather. The company books too large of a group. Should have broken us up into two groups. The tour guide was trying too hard. I think they... More

Dumbest.....thing.....ever. My wife and I have done "haunts" like this in the past at placed like Gettysburg and in Charleston. Even though they were silly, they were still fun. This was just plain stupid. Don't waste your money. Go to a bar and drink the $18 instead... you'll have more fun.

It's not a scary tour, it's more about the history and the haunts and legends that come from the history. We had Bonnie as our guid and I understand from island staff, she's the best and really the only one you want as your tour guide. My only complaint is the various plugs for other attractions.

Not so much. This tour was the worst "haunted" tour I've ever been on. A lot of the people in our tour left before it was over. I would not recommend this!

This tour was so boring and ridiculous! The stories were stupid and random. Many people in our group just walked away. Our tour guide was so scripted she often had to stop and figure out where in the story to begin again. $18 to walk in a loop and hear stories that "could have" "maybe" "might have" happened was stupid.

The tour was boring. Half the group bailed before the end. Heard some tour guides were better than others. Wouldn't do it again to find out.

Tour guide did her best, but stories were ho hum and the first few stops seemed more like advertising for the establishment not a ghost story. I wouldn't recommend it.

We had Kim as our tourguide. It's obvious that she is very passionate about the island, it's history, and the paranormal. She did an amazing job informing the group and keeping us entertained at the same time. If you are ever on the island definitely go on The Haunts of Mackinac.

I appreciate the history and stories of this walking tour. Kimberly is an excellent story teller. The light going dark, the bike falling over and the shadows in the window seemed to get us all laughing about the ghost being there with us. No, these events weren't staged, just part of the charm of the Island.
