We could not compare this butterfly house to any other, so perhaps there are better out there. But we loved it. Butterflies of all kinds sitting on your hand, flying around, seemingly very happy. Not crowded, not expensive, but well worth the visit.

Not impressed with our visit as they did not have the variety or quantity of butterflies advertised. Would rate this place lower were it not for the positive comments I received from other people visiting. Apparently butterflies live only a short time so the attraction has it's ups and downs. In any event, check it out a little before you... More

Been to several butterfly conservatories, this one is small but it did have several different kinds of butterflies.

The Butterfly house was so fun. Seeing and feeling the magic of butterfly up close and personal was so joyful. My granddaughters and myself were fascinated and loved finding the different butterflies matching them to our chart handed out at the beginning of the visit.

Great place to go and see all types of Butterfly's. We thought Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids was spectacular but this Conservatory will amaze you.

Kind of pricey, I don't even think we were in there for 40 minutes. Educational, kids loved it. Colorful variety of butterflies.

Small butterfly conservatory but still nice. Butterflys were still active in late September. There were probably 100 flying around.

This was the coolest attraction of the day. Being a senior citizen, I only had to pay $7.00 to get a ticket. You are given instructions about being careful not to step on the butterflies and that you will be checked before you can leave to make sure the butterflies don't go out with you. The butterflies are everywhere! They... More

I'm not much of a fan of Mackinac island, but I do like the butterfly house. They had a good variety of butterflies. There's a cute little gift shop. I think it's a good place to take kids. I think one could see most of the butterflies in this small enclosure in about 30 minutes max . It's a good... More

We bought the combo ticket with the horse carriage tour and didn't have any idea what this would be about. At the first horse stop where you change carriages you get an opportunity to see the butterflies. It is just a small enclosure but it is full of live butterflies flying all over the place. You literally have to watch... More
