Very interesting experience. I was really impressed with the volunteers who were so knowledgeable about exhibits and were all in period clothing.

This fort had some great information, and lively stories to share about Michigan history, pre-America. It was very interesting to hear the story of trappers and trading from Canada to what we now know as Michigan. Some people working there are dressed in the era...More

The live archaeology, plus the use of technology to bring exhibits alive is only the tip of the iceberg. Each interpreter in authentic period dress are very knowledgeable and helpful! A real must see!

make sure you are in shape, as this is steep walk up and down. once you are in the fort the views are fantastic, and don't miss the cannon demonstaration.

This was a nice and informative tour. To get to the top of the lighthouse there is a spiral staircase with many steps and then a ladder to climb to get to the very top. Nice views.

We also did the $75 family pass and for us the option worked great as we stayed over several days and could take in different sites throughout our stay.
