Very cool place to catch a movie.Not the over priced big jobs like in the big city.The owners are very friendly and welcoming.If your in the area check it out!...and save a few bucks.And the popcorn is excellent!!!!
The theater is right downtown has a long history. It's been renovated in an art deco style, but as the volunteer pointed out the only thing original left was a bit of tile floor at entrance so don't expect an "old time" movie theater experience....More

Comfortable seats, clean and friendly staff and Volunteers really make this place welcoming. The prices are fair and the sound quality and picture are of great quality. Some times they have free movies for children.
This is a great place to go see a movie. It's run mostly by volunteers how love their theatre. They show 1st run movies and weekly $2 Classics and $.25 Family Matinees. If I lived in Manistee I would volunteer at this theatre.

A great movie going experience in this recently renovated theatre. Showing new releases and in eclectic collection of all the movies this is a must destination for anyone visiting Manistee. The prices are low and the concession is cheap and the staff are all volunteers.
