We're so lucky to live close to Kensington Park. We go often throughout the year. There's so much to do. There's close to 8 miles of a bike path you can ride around. The petting zoo is wonderful to go to each spring and welcome the new baby animals. In the fall, we love to take a slow drive through... More

Trails include an eight mile paved loop around lake and numerous nature trails that provide varied scenery and wildlife. Birds so friendly they eat out of your hand!

My experiences with Kensington are mostly centered around their extensive network of horse trails, which are off-limits to hikers and others. If you have ever ridden horseback in the woods and had a mountain bike fly up on you, you would know what a big deal this is!

I visit here often, bike riding, cross country skiing, hiking, they have it all.... It's a great place to live close to for an active lifestyle, and to help me stay in shape and active.

We made a special trip here to feed the birds. The nature center has bird see dispensers (25 cents) and, if you walk a bit down a trail, the little birds will land on you and eat out of your hand. Delightful one of a kind experience. Huge park with lots to do. $10 day pass per car. $35 annual... More

Kensington is an wonderful Metropark in a beautiful location. They offer a multitude of different outdoor activities, including my family's personal favorite - the pedal boat rental!

The thing I hate about Metroparks is how they nickel and dime people. Buy the pass- get in the park. Waterslides, golf, disc golf- all extra. I really can't recommend coming here for 4th of July unless you like waiting in endless traffic. Cycling into the park is fine though, despite a growing amount of questionable asphalt. I much prefer... More

Kensington Metro Park is a jewel among the various parks in the area. It possesses Kent Lake and has a paved path around it totaling 8 1/2 miles. It is home to a farm and a nature center with miles of walking/hiking only trails. It has paddle boats in the summer and cross country skiing and sledding in the winter.... More
