I camped here as part of a Nomad overland trip. The entire area looked like it was ready for construction (or halfway through!) with the ground having been dug up, large holes dotted around, safety tape etc. The actual camping area was OK. There are lots of baboons in the area so be careful and vigilant. The spa was OK.... More

Would not have come here if not for a break stop. Really nothing to do or see except soak in the spring, if that your thing.

This was our last stop in Namibia. The first room smelt so bad we had to request a change. The rooms are dark. The linen was nice and clean and fresh. The shop had no meat to have a Braai, which was disappointing. The sirloin steak which was one of the three options at supper was super tuff. The food... More

We did not stay over at the spa as it was our end point for the Fishriver canyon hike. Was looking forward to a rumoured plate of French fries with a cold beer after 5 days of camping food only to be greeted by none existing service and no chips. After finally attracting the attention of a waitress I understood... More

Great resort given the location. Beautiful surroundings with very polite and helpful staff. The accomdation is good, clean and air conditioned. The thatched roofs needs attention and it spoils what otherwise could have been an excelent facility.

We were travelling through Namibia by 4WD camper and nearly didn't come to Ai Ais because of the bad reviews on Trip Advisor. But I'm glad we stayed a night. It's interesting to see this end of the canyon (we did an afternoon walk into the bottom end of the canyon). We then followed this with a late afternoon relaxing... More

Once again let down by the Staff no interest in the Customers who pay their Wages. It would seem it's just a job. Rooms clean but out dated too. Beds and linen very nice. Food Average to poor. Again if it wasn't for potion with Fish River Canyon no body would stay there. Pools clean.

Our second time here. The last time we went, we were worried that the lack of maintenance will close this place down. This was a year and a half ago. And now, it almost looks deserted when you drive in at the gate. The gate was open with no one in sight. We arrived in a scorching 47 degrees, which... More

Lady at Spa was very rude and seems very unwilling to assist. Breakfast was poor - only bread & cereals available. They brought muffins out after 10:00 (breakfast was from 07:00 - 09:00). When we asked what was for breakfast we were told only bread & cereal (supposed to be continental breakfasts). The lady we spoke to was extremely rude...... More
