Beautiful natural landscapes with excellent roads. Avoid the region over public holidays though. We went over Christmas 2017 and all the sights had long lines to enter.

We visited Mpumalanga with a guest from overseas so took her to a few of the scenic sights. As always the views are spectacular but having to pay between R20-R50 per person per sight, it becomes a very expensive day out.
