Janaki temple is situated in Janakpur zone of Nepal.It was built by Tikamgarh queen and looks like a palace.The temple is an example of Rajput archiecture.However a new portion has been added as "Bibah Mnadap" with a Nepalese architecture style and looks odd. Janki temple is one of most among religious temple you can find in nepal. This temple is also known as Naulakha temple and SITA PALACE. This is home town of godess sita. And here every year thousands of peoples, saints and devotees come fom Ayodhya.

Janaki Temple is also known as Naulakha temple built by the queen of Tikamgarh but finally the cost was 18 lakh completed in 12 years in 1914.It is built on Hindu Rajput architecture.The temple looks like a palace.Temple opens From 8.00AM to 9.00PM except a short closer in the afternoon.

very Beautiful place to visit. it was hot & humid but when u reached inside the temple the coolness settle you all. a great Mughal style temple with lovely architect. the Bibah mandap. the Dhanusa sagar, Sankat mochan, Ram mandir are other places where you can tour when in Janakpur.

We Take transport from Jaynagar ( Railway Station) to Reach Janakpur..the Nepali Train plies to Janakpur..takes around 2 hrs . This Temple is A Beautiful Temple which Resembles Maa Sita..in Ramayan.My trip was Good and Visit soon to other parts of nepal

Janakpur is a beautiful place. Its a great place for visitor. I happily enjoyed here with my family. Ram Janaki Mandir, Ram Mandir, Janak nath, Kapleshwar madir is most attractive place to visit.

if you go to madhbani district,it is very near from there in janakpur.its a big temple og godess Sita and god Rama

Janakpuri isn't an ancient place with historical importance of Ramayanam. Mama Sita grow up here during her child hood.
