At age 69, to trek pass Thorung La Pass (5416 m) of the Annapurna Circuit, Nepal, without taking high altitude medications, is a hefty and extreme endeavour to my physical competence and will power. In October 2016, with the superb guiding service from Snowy Horizon Treks and Expeditions in Nepal, I accomplished this challenge according to schedule without incidents and... More

The scenery is fantastic. The trek is a long way but worth it. There is a particular part which gets can get heavy on your legs i.e loads of stairs uphill. After that there is another part called "Poon Hill". You can skip it but I would recommend to do it if you are there. The views are fantastic and... More

But Between Bamboo to Machhapuchhre base camp there is so terrible to get the room for travelers. Even the dining, lunch table and ground floor are... More

The tea houses that you would most likely spend your nights at are amazing. The tea houses owners (especially the ones at the lower ground), are simply nice and genuine. I went during the beginning of December and it was just the right time as it wasnt too busy then. Oh and its super cold reaching the top (but thats... More

Due to our limited vacation leave days, my partner and i had only 12 days in Nepal for the Annapurna Circuit trek. So we signed up with Nepal Eco Adventures via Bookmundi to come up with a shortened 10day trek though the Annapurna mountains. We began on foot at Chamje, crossed the freezing 5416m asl Thorung La Pass and ended... More
