The compound was a bit crazy with traffic, parking and so many tourists all wanting to have a photo. The zoo is just right, a lot are better

The place has no entrance fee, so you may visit it without spending money. I'm an animal lover and I didn't think the place is a great place to see animals because they are not in their natural habitat. There is also a museum where preserved animals personally hunted by Singson are displayed. I really didn't enjoyed the place.

The afternoon we visited Baluarte was also the day when Pacquiao pummeled Vargas into submission. So, it was full house at the entrance due to a free viewing of the fight and visibly with a lot of tourist, both local and foreign, scouring the wide amusement park. Our group stayed long at the bulwark atop a hill, where stuffed animals... More

The place is crawling with different species of animals but the most memorable is touching and taking pictures with a big friendly snake. It is located in a big private property and this is free for the public. There are available parking space for big group and food carts are available. Be there early so that you can enjoy the... For me, Baluarte is equated to taxidermied animals. If you are against animal cruelty, stay away from this place. The museum houses a lot of taxidermied animals hunted by a known person in the country. It was amazing to look at but at the same time heartbreaking to see animals killed just for the fun of it. Anyway, there's also... More

Or mountain is it? The ride is advisable because the safari gallery is at the top. It consists of all the preserved hunts of singson. Lots of souvenirs outside

Limited selection of well-fed animals but zoo is well maintained. A number of animals such as deers, camels, and zebras roamed freely. Had the opportunity to have a close-up look of the lions, tigers, python, and ostrich. Enjoyed the Safari Gallery, where a huge collection of stuffed animals were displayed. I finished my tour in less than an hour. A... More

I have been to many parks and amusement and these place is one of the best. Even though I'm from a more modern place, but this park is I love how they manage it.

Its not your typical zoo where everything is inside a cage. Some animals roam freely around the property.
