We were looking forward to this museum but was not all that interesting and a bit of a pain to get to

The Toilet House is a must-see if you're ever in Suwon. Since "poo" is something with which we're all intimately acquainted, the historical time trip is fascinating! Across the road is the Toilet House Cultural Center which has some really cool activities for kids!

The Toilet House is out of the way - you can board the Nr 65 bus just off the Paldalmun Gate (so you can visit there after the fortress.) You need to get off at the Dongwon High School stop and then walk for about 10 minutes to reach the Toilet House. The house, the park and centre nearby are... More

This is a museum, in the shape of a toilet, celebrating the toilet! I went as part of the city tour. Definitely a unique experience. Strangely it might just be worth a visit!

I guess we Brits (who are renowned for our love of puerile lavatorial humour) will feel quite at home when visiting Hae-woo-jae (in English: Mr. Toilet House) a museum which centres around a toilet-shaped museum building that was once the home of Sim Jae-duck, founder and first president of the World Toilet Association." Legend has it Mr Sim was actually... More

Silly place. I woul not make a special visit down from Seoul, but if you are in Suwon, why not? We went on a Sunday morning and there were about 15ish people there. It only takes about 45 minutes to see the poo exhibit which was called "From Mouth to Anus".

Travelled out to see this place because of the novelty of poo in Korea and in all fairness the place doesn't advertise as a big tourist attraction bit I felt it was a little subpar. It was nice to learn about the man who helped fill the needs of events with toilets and funny to look at the random toilet... More

This was much smaller than we expected, but still worth a visit if you have an hour or so. The statues outside are the most entertaining, just don't plan to spend more then an hour or so here as its a pretty small museum.
