A must see in the UP. Breathtaking. The cruise is great on a nice day. Canoes look fun too. If you have the time hike some of the shore.

We hike the trails around here in the fall as part of our color tour....it is part of the North Country Trail. Pack water and snacks...bug spray...if you take a larger group...8-10. Rent the pontoon boat in summer months and enjoy a long day of sight seeing from the shoreline. Numerous places to hike and take photos and picnic. no... More

We took the morning boat ride, sat on top of boat, you get to see rock either side you sit on, not too cold, trip was great and I don't know why everyone felt it was long trip, it wasn't the tour guide talks your seeing new views and it went by quick. Recommend for sure

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is definitely something to see. We stopped there for a day and a half on our way to copper harbor and isle royale national park. Im so glad we did. We took a boat tour and got to see the amazing sandstone walls from the teal blue water. I wish we had also had time to... More

My wife and I went with a couple of friends and got some sage advice from those who'd been there before. We took the sunset boat tour and sat on the top, right (starboard) side of the boat. This definitely provided the best view of the rocks while the light was still good, and let us enjoy the magnificent sunsets... More

Totally worth the visit. Beautiful in all seasons but the weather may prove to be more hazardous in the winter.

For an overall panoramic view of Pictured Rocks, take the affordable Pictured Rocks Cruise, which offers a view from the water. (See my other review.) Then venture into the National Lakeshore via car from Munising. First stop is Munising Falls, just outside Munising, a very short trip and almost impossible to miss, it's so clearly marked. There's ample parking, and... More

How can one review natures splendor! Incredible! If you hike the NCT make sure you take enough water with you! A walking stick is helpful also.

I'm not sure how to put the beauty of Pictured Rocks into words....My friend and I did the 4pm cruise, and just wow!! Breathtaking views, and a wonderful explenation from the ship captain. I took so many pictures, I just could not help myself. Next time, I plan on video recording the journey. Not so sure I could handle the... More
