Sunset cruise was very good with lots of narration that was clear and informative. Lasted about 3 hours. Also saw the old cedar sided Grand Island Lighthouse.

What an amazing place -- I experienced it through a boat cruise, driving tour and hiking paths, and everywhere I went was beautiful. Can't recommend highly enough!!

On the must see list for Upper Peninsula. So many ways and modes of transportation to view there is not excuse to not see it. Kayak, boat tours, hiking.

We saw from the cruise and we are now planning a camping trip to view the area around this treasure. From the cruise we could see many beaches that one could camp. Also good for kayakers

You need to spend one day on Mackinac Island. If you are already doing that and have two extra days, then yes I recommend the upper peninsula. It is an easy drive up I75 to Sault Ste. Marie to do the Soo Locks cruise which... More

Be prepared with bug spray for mosquitos and black flies. If you need it, you have it. If the bugs aren't bad (which is rare in my opinion), at least you were prepared. Ticks have been quite bad this year in lower Michigan... More

We stayed at the munising holiday inn express, lovely views, nice people and great breakfast. Did not kayak only took the boat tour.
