No trip to León would be complete with a trip to the Basilica ( I am not a Catholic but I appreciate these beautiful structures). It dominates the the city square and has had some serious cleaning to make the white structure almost glow...if available,...More

Go to the rooftop - it's a must do in León, great experience to walk around barefoot and enjoying the view. It's quite accessible, not too many stairs to climb. To get tickets go to the back of the cathedral church (90 Cordobas).

During a visit to the Cathedral of LEón you will learn a lot of local history and culture. It is amazing to see some hidden details that some people relate to mansonry, and the glorius architecture impresses from the first sight.

This is probably the main draw in the center of town. It looks as if its been worked on lately with a fresh coat of paint on the front. The inside is quite nice. Great place to stop.

Once you at the top of the cathedral the scenery is beautiful. Around you the city and at the background the vulcano. Really worth a visit
