I scream You scream We all scream for Ice Cream!

I had my first visit the other day in search of eggs. With only drive thru as an option (which I much prefer at this time), I don't have a review for this as an attraction. But I was able to get eggs and of course had to try the ice cream! My Mom was so happy to have a nice treat. Very tasty and I will definitely go back and try them again!

Great Ice Cream!
Jun 2019
We love to visit to pet the cows, see how the dairy works, and get awesome ice cream, cheese, and other local goodies! Seriously fun for kids of all ages, and a great way for everyone to see how a quality, family-run business takes care of their animals.

Great ice cream!
Oct 2019
Cook's has some wonderful ice cream. But more than that, they are one of the few remaining dairies in MI. We love supporting local farmers and buy alot of ice cream to take home. Unfortunately (fortunately??!) we live practically across the street, so our ice cream and milk runs are frequent!! :) And the eggnog? Outstanding!!

What is nice is that you can interact with the cows. And city folk need that. See where your food is coming from, and support a local farm.

Just meh

I’m an ice cream snob, so this doesn’t rate up with Ray’s or Dark Horse for me, but everyone I’m with loves it, so the kids will be happy. The smell is almost unbearable in the summer, but kids can feed and pet the animals and don’t even notice. I’ve seen improvements over the years.

The Ice Cream is MOOVELOUS!
Oct 2019
Cook's Dairy is a must for good-tasting ice cream. You can even visit the cows that produce the milk for the ice cream. How fresh is that?

Great ice cream
Aug 2019 • Couples
Local dairy farm that produces their own milk and ice cream products. They are generous with their scoop of ice cream. So grab a cone and sit next to the cow who provided some of the milk. Be prepared for long lines on warm summer evenings. Enjoy!

Get your Ice Cream/Dairy Fix and stay around for the animals
Oct 2018
Some of the best tasting Ice Cream around. Have been in a few times and tried different flavors. Staff are always courteous and not afraid to give samples or give you some "extra' ice cream on the cone.

Stick around as you eat your treat and see/feed the animals. Most of the time others are doing the same and gives you some different people to talk with.

Yummy
Aug 2019 • Friends
I got to Cook's about 8:30. They are open until 10. There was a short line. I got the black cherry in a small cup. The small was plenty. I also purchased a pint of raspberry ice cream to go. The staff is friendly and works quickly. It is a dairy farm so there is the smell of cows. The cows are out so people can walk back to see them.
