There were very few waterfowl geese on the main mardh and blue winged teal along the swamp area. No warblers, did see an eagle. Also saw a coyote and a box turtle.

This is a nice wild marshy place to look at birds & other wildlife. There's a few pulloffs & you can walk around, though there's not really marked trails.
I would suggest getting out of your car & look out at the marsh.
We saw an osprey, bald eagle, lots of egrets & blue herons. Frogs & a turtle.
This is really a place for someone who's interested in nature & birding.
I have to note that my husband & I aren't birders, but still enjoyed the marsh.

Went with a birding group. Highlights include an osprey nesting tower, eagles sora, Virginia rail, American Bittern, brown thrasher.
