Big, beautiful sand beach with room for lots of families. We made a day of it and enjoyed building sand castles, playing in the lake which had temps in the high 60s, and watching the kids play on the playground. It has a nice boardwalk, bathrooms, benches for grandma to sit, and is walking distance from downtown restaurants and ice cream.

Really quick...I'm from New England. This beach is better than 99% of what the Northeast has. The sand is perfect. The water of Huron is clear and there is plenty of room to spread out here with friends, family, have a picnic, hang out at the accompanying park (they are also building a Hotel within a stone's throw that should be complete by 2024). There is a bathhouse, rest room, a snack and drink vendor and a cute little coffee shop, Oscodo Museum and vintage movie theatre with a couple blocks as well. It's pretty easy to spend the whole afternoon here. Highly recommended beach that rivalled anything on Mackinac Island. Possibly the best beach on Michigan's east coast as a lot of these pictures don't do it justice.

This beautiful sandy beach on Lake Huron offered us a lovely afternoon snoozing in the sun. The beach had a boardwalk, playground equipment and a splash pad. The water was clear and, had it been warmer, perfect for swimming. Definitely worth visiting

Nice park in Oscoda with beach access. There weren't life guards, so I guess swim at your own risk. This beach is dog friendly.
Nice shady trees with picnic tables & a playground.
There's a long pier that gives you great views of the shoreline.
They have open restrooms as well.
The area looked very clean & cared for.

Children have a nice splash park and the adults have a pier to walk on that leads out to Lake Huron. Wonderful large sandy beach.

I couldn't believe this gem in the town of Oscoda! It is very clean and very beautiful. The beach is long and very sandy, I was looking to simply walk the beach. This gave me a good long walk in the sand letting the waves lick my feet. Wonderful!

The Beach Park in Oscoda is very clean. It has a bathhouse with showers and bathrooms. There is a playground along with grilling stations with picnic tables. The beach is very spacious and we were there on what should have been a very crowded day and we had plenty of room on the beach. The beach is also dog friendly. Very nice place for anyone looking to have a good time.

We stopped at the Oscoda Beach Park on our way up north. This park has everything one would want. The beach was sandy and well kept. The splash pad was a hit with my son and was provided relief from the heat. The play structure was kept up nice and was plenty large for the amount of people there. The pier and boardwalk were in good condition and the breeze off the lake was just right on the hot day. We will make this a place that we stop every time we come this way and so should you.
