My family and I did a day trip to Bittersweet in January 2018. We usually attempt 2 ski trips annually and have been to Bittersweet before. We purchased a private lesson for my daughters as it is very nice to do a refresher each year...More

Bittersweet is great for all ski levels. They have nice greens for beginners. They have a terrain park for the adventurer. The blues are fun. It’s got a tow rope for extreme beginners.

I would say the snow making crew had done an outstanding job of managing the snow with the season we had this year. Keep up the good work.

For Michigan it is okay, but overall not great. Overpriced and not great deals. The jumps in terrain parks were not sized or spaced properly. I understand it was a bad winter for skiing but quality did not hold up.

The runs are nice and challenging. It is a great place to ski in central Michigan. Keep in mind that the runs aren't as long as the ones in Colorado but it's a great place for beginners! They have some great bunny hills and easy...More

Bittersweet does a nice job keeping the snow when temperatures are cold enough. Their employees are typically friendly. I would love to see the employees not smoke when outside

Yes, outside food is allowed. There is a "picnic" section upstairs in the lodge for those who wish to bring their own food. I don't know if there are electrical outlets where you could plug in a crockpot though.
