This is the lighthouse the Edmund Fitzgerald should not see on the night it wrecked. On a nice beach. Full of historic information, shows life of a lighthouse keeper with narrated tour guides.

Not what I expected. Views are beautiful but mosquitoes were so bad both days we were there that we couldn't stay long. Gift shop is nice.

We were close so we took the extra ride north. The view from the point is very pretty. The black flies are awful!! They don't leave you alone, even with bug spray. Protect yourself with long sleeves and pants.

We paid the extra donation to go up into the light house. It's a hike, but worth it. Kids got to see what it was like to be in the tower, learn about the duties.

Lots of stairs but able body can climb to top of lighthouse. Nice walkway to oversea point and access to beach.

The museum is not huge, but it's very interesting and has good exhibits. I love the light. Take a tour of the house also. It has an interesting history. The grounds are lovely and it's all very easy to reach. Great photo ops here.

Wow! We visited in early May and the weather was just perfect! The house is very interesting and there was a nice lady in there that took us around and told us about the light keepers who had lived there.

Learned a lot about the ships lost on Lake Superior particularly the Edmund Fitzgerald sunk in the 70's with 29 sailors.
