This is one of our favorite parks. We love to camp at the River Mouth campground in the primative sites. You can relax and watch the river roll by. The camp is close enough to visit the Upper Falls, Camp 33, the Lower Falls, and...More

We loved this part of Michigan. We visited the lower and upper Tahquamenon Falls and the hike was lovely. This is well worth doing. It cost our car of four $9.00 and that is to enter any of the state parks in Michigan. A bargain...More

I am NOT a fan of the State of Michigan's campgrounds. The Lower Falls Park is GREAT! Large sites, electricity, bath house, hiking distance to the lower falls and the upper if you're into it. We loved this park.

Lovely Michigan state park with paved walking paths to the Upper and Lower Falls. Gift shops and snack shops at both locations, as well as shuttle service to the Falls. It is a 4 mile walk between the Upper Falls and Lower Falls so u...More

This is a very very busy park. The good: the falls are beautiful and accessible. The brew pub right on site is fun--great food, good beer and fair prices. The bad: hordes of people, accessible means plenty of concrete and asphalt, modern campgrounds are packed...More

This state park is gorgeous! Well kept and clean, accessible, offers great learning experiences. I recommend spending one day here between the lower and upper falls. If hiking between the two, please ask someone about the trail conditions! My husband and I went about 24...More

The falls is fairly close to the parking area. Nice rest stops before entering the trails. You can stay at this area and view falls or there are 2 different areas of stairs to take you down for a close up look. It is not...More

This is such a beautiful spot - even with all the tourists you can find a space to just revel in the splendor of nature! There is a 4 mile path between the upper and lower falls but beware - it's marked but in no...More

This was such a great day trip!!! Plan on the entire day to visit everything! I suggest starting at the lower falls, hiking from the farthest viewing area all the way to the boat rental. Going out to the island is a must!!! Absolutely beautiful!!...More

The Upper Falls has good paved trails for low-activity strolling but also feature more difficult unpaved trails. The paved trails have multiple vantage points and offer and closer view via 94 steps down with a large vantage point below. The Falls, in general, have a...More

We did the Falls for 3 hours, had lunch at an awesome restaurant in Paradise called Brown's Fisheries, and spent the afternoon at Whitefish Point. It was a long day, but not too tiring.

We didn't stay there, so I can't answer that definitively. But regular cell service was practically non-existent.
