I've always enjoyed the streets and the shops. Something for everyone. Roast and toast is my favorite place and I love the gaslights.

Quaint shopping district, always a stop on our up north trips, love Culver's, and eclectic shops. A must do is Meyers HardWare!

This is a classic old, historic downtown shipping district that is very well taken care of and very nice for visitors to shop. There are a nice variety of shops and restaurants, including public restrooms.

This little town left a big impression on my wife and I as we came up to see the tunnel of trees. We could have never left! People are so sweet and kind. Such an eclectic variety of things to do and eat so you have to go. But bring lots of money because you are going to want to... More

This is a wonderful place to shop till you drop something for every one. Metered parking. We shopped resale, gift, art, pets furniture, art, high end to close out clothes, we even got lunch at the deli.

Petokey has all the ear marks of potential success as a destination and a hip place to be. Unfortunately the place closes down by 6 pm even in the height of the summer season, the prices are high and there is little to recommend it to anyone who wants a funky youthful feeling with music, art and interesting people wandering... This is a beautiful shopping district. Cute shops and restaurants with a view of the lake. Made for a nice few hours on our recent trip.
