We went canoeing in Port Crescent and the river opened up to the beautiful Lake Huron beach. We rented canoes from Tip a Thumb canoe and kayaks, which is right outside the state park so you don't need to pay for the state park entrance....More

We went there for a walk on the bridge which brings you in front of the Port Austin harbor. Additionally to the harbor you are able to see the scenic view of the bays around Port Austin. I definitely would recommend to walk this trail...More

Beach was technically closed because of water quality issues. We avoided the water and walked the beach. Beautiful views!!

If not camping, you have to use the day use beach, with had about 3 ft of beach when we visited. We did not stay. Glad we didn't have to pay to go into this park.

This is in a good location on the sandy shores of Lake Huron. Some of the campsites are waterfront and should be the first ones taken.
