Easy to locate and plan to spend about an hour walking the paved sidewalk next to the river. Breath taking views of the Blue Water bridge and freighters from around the world entering or leaving Lake Huron.

The advertising for the Blue Water River Walk seemed enticing, but it wasn't what I expected. After walking the beautifully landscaped shoreline near the Blue Water Bridge I was disappointed in the river walk. We walked a long way and it began to rain and...More

The water is amazing like what you would almost see in the Caribbean. The water is so clear that you can see the ships props. They have fishing pole holders built in along several areas and ladders if you are brave to take on the...More

The river is a great place to walk. Lots to see and you will usually see Great lakes Freighters up close and personal. The only place you will get closer to the freighters I the Soo Locks.

The volunteers that put this together did a wonderful job of preserving some of this areas rich past. The restoration efforts have reintroduced native plants and wildlife while blending in artifacts of a once bustling industrial center.

This location provided a pleasant stroll through the park area and alongside the crystal clear river that separate Canada from the US. Great views of the Canadian side of the border from here. Nice breeze comes off the water and helps cool you down.

Very nice walk. Views of Canada are spectacular. The water is clear with lots of birds to see. Old rail road artifacts & sculptures too. Easy walk, completely handicap accessible. Nice way to spend an hour or two on a nice day.

Great place to walk, run or bike. We take in the views of the river. We watch the boats and freighters coming and going. Good place to chat to fishermen or maybe see a diver or two exploring the river. We like to grab a...More

A beautiful paved walkway with landscaping to make a serene stroll (or jog or bike ride) along the river. You will probably see huge freighters as well as outboard motor-powered fishing boats. Sea birds follow the fishermen. There is also some modern sculpture along the...More

Even though it was cold, the view of the river was great. Watching large chunks of ice flowing down the river was quite relaxing. Lots of parking, and restaurants nearby. The view of Sarnia and the bridge was pretty cool. I've got a feeling I...More

The walk is very wide, I did not see wheelchair curb cuts, but it is so new that under ADA, my guess is that there would have to be and someone else said yes. It is very smooth and we saw lots of folks with baby strollers... More
