The Penguin exhibit is the latest masterpiece and surely worth a visit just to check it out. The Arctic Life (polar bears) exhibit remains a... More

Loved the butterfly house most of all. The Detroit Zoo is a hit be it summer or winter. The light display in the winter puts you in the mood for the holidays. Walking around the zoo during warm weather is a wonderful outing with the children.

My friend and I went to the senior day just after Labor Day. The temperature was about 100° that day and, since it was free senior day, we decided to go anyway. It was Packed with many seniors and their caregivers. I have visited this zoo many times over the years. This was the first time that we visited the... More

It is inexpensive and very nice outing for people and out of town guests . The Detroit Zoo is close to the city and I would recommend it to others any time.
