Be sure to stop by the main lighthouse in South Haven as part of your overall trip. You will get the true feell of Lake Michigan, especially if you walk to the end of the pier.

Clear water and fine sand make this beach inviting. Lots to do in the local area, restaurants, hotels, shops. Parking charges from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Weekends overcrowding can be an issue.

It was cold and super windy when we went but we did enjoy the walk to the lighthouse and watching the large waves crashing up against it.

Beautiful! It was windy and chilly but not bad for February. The waves weren’t high despite the wind so it was a good visit. Worth seeing if you like lighthouses. It’s not a long walk out there, but it is uneven. We pushed a stroller...More

Even in the dead of winter with waveburgs along the shoreline it is still a beautiful and an experience no one should miss. Walked out onto the pier, which was still a bit icy and listening to the waveburgs and ice cracking with the smooth...More

The lighthouses provide a peaceful place to walk, a great place to take pictures any time of year. Great place to fish or sit and read a book.

The Last Resort B&B Inn. My wife and I stayed at this cozy little B&B, and we had a great time.

There is free parking up the hill "in town". Parking down by the beach requires payment.

I am not aware that you can go in. There is a door but it is locked. I would assume no general public entrance. It is a VERY small lighthouse so there would not be a lot to see anyway.
