Traverse City Front Street has all that a downtown should have. Easy waking and shopping restaurants and Theatre. Even old opera house with events scheduled throuout the year. Not far from the beach. And summer farmers market

We caught The Post at the State Theater, a good movie. Then we strolled Front St. All the businesses were open and no summer crowds. A nice dinner at Mackinaw Brewing and the end of a fun afternoon in town.

It a GREAT place to watch a movie, and you can afford to go there. The snacks are reasonable, YES, that's right you can afford them. Not like the other place south of town. Way out there on Affordable

No better place to see a movie!!!!! Excellent large bucket popcorn - butter and salt. Just like when I was a kid attending Redford Theater in Detroit.

Front street is an active downtown street that is loaded with restaurants and stores. I have been there dozens of times and always seem to find something I've never seen before.

Recently restored State Theatre is a great place to see a movie on the big screen. Reminds me of the movie theatre of my youth. Red velvet curtains and seating. Fully restored. You can get popcorn and a drink for 5 bucks, not an arm...More

Front street offers unique shops (hiking, camera, hats, coffee) and a theater as well as being pet friendly. It is only a couple of blocks from Traverse Bay.

Any season, there is something great to see on Front Street. Great shops and restaurants. Excellent bars and nightlife. Check out the lights during the holidays and wander during the summer tourist season. This place is hopping during Film Festival and Cherry Festival.

Yes there are. Most restaurants have several gluten free options listed right on their menu. I live here, eat out a lot and also have to be gluten free. It is always wise to ask just to be sure. I think Traverse City was... More
