With wines with names like Detention and Homework it is quite fitting this winery is an old schoolhouse. Many of the wines are delicious. Today we ordered the snack plate for lunch on the patio with a glass of wine. It was perfect for a light lunch for two. The Apple blossoms were still flowering, it was 64° and quite... More

With wine selections like DETENTION and HOMEWORK, how could you not like this place? Great biscuits to munch in between tastings. Cute props for pictures against the chalkboard as well as neat gift items. A definite stop!

I was immediately intrigued driving up to the old school house. It is such a nice country setting. The names of the wines seemed juvenile, but that is not why you go to a winery. I liked several of the options and brought home a hot rod and something else that wasn't labeled. If I hadn't done a couple tastings... More

This was my least favorite winery we stopped at on Old Mission. Most of their wines were too sweet for my taste and when the buses came in, the small tasting room got very crowded. It was the cheapest tasting we did, but I had no desire to take any of the wines home. We will probably skip it next... More

This little schoolhouse can pack them in on the weekend. They have a nice selection of dry and sweet wines, cider and root beer. The hot rod cherry, detention, old school red and white are all good.

We have been here before, and recently it has become more popular. Great in general, except if the one room schoolhouse where the tasting room is becomes packed to the gills. Besides that, last time I was in I bought 6 bottles of wine (reasonably priced at $90) but they charged me $5 for the bag to carry them out... More

Cute place, okay wines. Love the décor of the place. No Napa here but a fun tasting and we bought a bottle of a red blend that was pretty good.

First time customer here. We were hoping for indoor or outdoor seating but there was none. Just a wine tasting area in the middle of the room. We sampled all of their red wines and the hard cider. The driest wine we could find was very good and for 20 a bottle it was reasonably priced. Most of the wines... More

This was one of our favorite yet simple wineries along our tour. Converted from an old school house, there wasn't 1 wine we did not like, Detention was our favorite. The Sangria was probably the best me and my wife have ever had, ended up taking a pint home with us.

Great way to bring life into an old building and done the right way. Great old school charm! Love that they use "school" terms to name their wines!
