Five of us girls spent the weekend on Old Mission Peninsula and stopped at the general store twice. The store is full of nostalgic charm while also having quite a selection of items for purchase. The store is a little crowded but this was not...More

This store is kind of the only game in town. It has a certain charm. Here's what we didn't like about it. There are no prices on many things except there is a small board indicating what the lunch/dinner specials are. Everything else seems to...More

For a lifetime experience, the General store is a must see. Take your time, have a treat set a while, play a game of checkers. Try a big pickle , right out of the barrel.

After reading online reviews, I was excited to add this store as a sight seeing stop on our day trip to the lighthouse. From the photos, I was expecting a spacious, bright, clean inviting store where we could find unique mementos of our vacation. On...More

This historically authentic location is a "must see" attraction. Just on the corner to the North is a replica of the Old Mission Church (just a two minute walk). Since the replica church isn't listed in the attractions and is affiliated with the historic store,...More
