Love crowds? Love garbage everywhere? Love waiting to get in? Just go somewhere else. I don't even walk my little dog there cuz its filthy. Too many people from Holland come to this park. They really should cap how many come in, & hire someone...More

Such an amazing place to get a hike/walk in. The views are amazing and the lake is absolutely beautiful. A great place to see some amazing sunsets for sure.

Not many dog beaches available these days. Kirk Park definitely fills the bill. Beautiful area, with plenty of parking. A bit of a hike to the actual beach area, but it's all part of the experience. Best to bring a towel and something refreshing for...More

The off leash dog beach is simply a must-do for dog owners. Kirk Park does a nominal fee but there is ample parking and bathrooms at the entrance. Picnic tables are available and even a few vending machines. There's a wash the sand off shower...More

This place is by far the best beach in Ottawa County. It's very clean, wide, and almost never crowded.

I read about this gem and had to see the off leash dog friendly beach! It was so awesome! Nice .25 mile trail to the beach and then the wooden steps down to Lake Michigan, where many dogs roamed, romped and felt the freedom of...More

I stumbled upon this gem of a place by trying to find some hiking/adventure around Holland while renting a place in town. My husband and I first tried Holland State Park, and when we realized it really wasn't the hiking/great beach state park we anticipated...More

Went to the dog beach over 4th July weekend and we had a nice time. We got there about 4:30pm to try to avoid crowd and it wasn't too bad. Lots of friendly dogs and owners playing in surf. There isn't really a lot of...More

Yes! The designated dog area is marked and past that point no animals are allowed. During my visit it seemed as if people respected the separate beach area. There are many miles of beach and trails to explore in the area!
