From the moment you see your beautiful, gleaming, black Daimler arrive to collect you, you just know this day is going to be special. Have a brief chat with your guide, John Baldwin, about the wines you love, the wineries you have to see, where you have already been, and then leave it to this passionate local to personally tailor your tour just for you. These rare 1962 Daimlers can seat up to 8 persons when required, but it is really special to be the only two in the vast back seat of these historic vehicles (used in royal tours of the sixties). Premium wine tastings, sumptuous restaurant lunches with wine, afternoon tea at Maggie Beers Farm Shop are all included, plus free collection and return to your Barossa accommodation. John seems to know everyone, and he loves to share his local knowledge and close friendships which he has formed with the winemakers, with all who tour with him. You can visit the large iconic wineries such as Penfolds,Jacobs Creek and Seppeltsfield or be introduced to the smaller boutique wines at Torbreck, Rockford, Charles Melton and Charles Cimicky, to name a few. A Barossa tour begins at 10am and finishes at 5pm. Adelaide pickups are available (at extra cost) and begin at 9am and finish at 5.30pm. A modern 7 seat Mercedes is also available for tours to the Adelaide Hills, Clare Valley and McLaren Vale and is used for the Adelaide accommodation or Airport pickups.

John met us promtly at the hotel at ten am. Rest of the day/experience was "out of this world"!!! The only way and of course the best way to see and learn all about Barossa on the mindblowing Daimler. King and Queen feeling!!! Jogn knows everybody, and his knowhow and VIP keys allowed us to enter and learn from the... More

My husband and I recently visited the Barossa Valley and had John as our tour guide in this Australian wine region. John was excellent, as he tailored our visit to things that would interest us and make the most of our day in the Barossa Valley. From our pickup in Adelaide, John proceeded to make the day a wonderful experience... More

My husband and I had an amazing day being chauffered aroung the Barossa by John. John collected us from our accommodation in his amazing Daimler-the most comfortable, couch-like seat, beautifully cared for-and then arranged visits to 4 wineries. Lunch, in between, at Vintners Restaurant which was great. Had a wonderful day. Thoroughly recommend this tour.

We had an absolutely sensational day touring the Barossa with John! How rare it is to meet people like John who are truly passionate about what they do, as well as so incredibly knowledgeable, humble, and entertaining!! It is a testament to John that when we mentioned him over the next few days to various local chefs and winemakers, everyone’s... More

We had the most wonderful time driving around in luxury, drinking fabulous wine and eating fantastic food. John's knowledge of the area and wine was fantastic and his ability to tailor the tour to our tastes was icing on the cake. Thanks for a great day out John!!!

We had an amazing tour of the Barossa Valley. John was very informative and took us off piste to visit an old friend who is a wine maker. We learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our day out. We could not have seen all we wanted on our own. The car was a joy to ride in and travelling in... More

Thank you for taking the time to review your day out in The Barossa. John is always happy to include any requests our guests may have, and so was pleased to help you organise to catch up with your winemaker friend. It certainly is a luxurious ride and one we are proud to offer. Thanks again, Libby. More

What an magical time was had by our party on Fathers' Day this year. The Daimler tour enabled us to enjoy the wineries in style and to do something that would be truly memorable.
