Stand in awe as a giant barge go underneath the lift bridge. The barges are unbelievably huge. It's a beautiful place to hang out on a summer evening. Lots of things to do down by the bridge.

This is an icon on Lake Superior. It opens up the western end of the Greatest lake to the St. Louis estuary and the bay. Beautiful!

Canal Park and the bridge are amazing sites in the winter too! Ice on the lake, sun in the sky, sea smoke on the water, bundle up and enjoy. Plenty of great hotels and eateries are within easy walking distances-many terrific shops also.

So much fun to watch and lots of great places to see different views. Has restaurants all around so you can stop and eat and continue on watching the ships go through.

A must see. The Aerial Lift Bridge embodies life in the Twin Pirts and the shipping industry. Who doesn’t love to watch the ships come in, watch the lift bridge rise up, bells sounding, to let the ships pass through. An experience for all ages!...More

This is a good place to eat, and there is a lot of history in mainly the top floor of the building. I don't remember if they take reservations, but think so. Strongly recommend calling them at Grandma’s - Canal Park 522... More
