Watch seagulls soaring while you stroll around this popular spot, part of the revived Duluth waterfront. Nearby are a sculpture garden, jazz clubs, coffee shops, motels and restaurants. If you like ships, stand on the pier and watch huge boats and ships, some from around the world, come and go daily.

You cannot visit Duluth without checking out Canal Park. Right off Lake Superior you will find an assortment of things to see, do and Eat.

We had a lovely walk through the park. Even though it was rather wintry (March, but about 40 degrees) we enjoyed the area and took a lot of pictures. It was sad to see that someone had spray painted on a statue. People should be...More

The water, lighthouses, birds, and aerial lift bridge make this a pleasant place to walk and enjoy the area. People of all ages were smiling. We saw snow this visit in late April.

When we were in Duluth, there was still snow on the ground. I can't wait to walk Canal Park in the summer and watch the big ships come into port. It was pretty in the winter but I'm guessing that it is just beautiful in...More

It was winter when we went but it was still fun to see the sites. The lake had big chuncks of ice at the waters edge. There is more to do once the snow melts

When I moved to Duluth 35 years ago "Canal Park" didn't exist. I have been able to watch the city clean up and develop a really neat area. It is very "touristy" with the shops and such, especially in the summer, but it is a...More

I don't believe that Tall Ships Duluth is an event held every year, it seems that it is every 2-3 years on the Great Lakes. Duluth was 2013, and 2016.
