Not an easy place to get to, but worth the effort! See for miles up the shore! LOTS of stairs! Bring your camera.....even if you're a local!,

I've been coming up to Enger Park since... Well, Always! My grandparents used to bring me up to Enger Park when I was a kid and I've never stopped coming back! It's a very nice and safe park with plenty of room to roam and some of the best views in all of Minnesota! A short climb... ok, a bit... More

We went to the park during a rather cold and windy day, which I don't recommend. The views were pretty, but the tower doesn't provide any protection from the elements. There are trails that also run through the park which might be fun as well. There is a pretty scenic overlook not far from the parking lot for those who... More

Enger Park & Tower are apart of the Duluth Skyline, and off of the Skyline Drive. Climbing the tower steps is great exercise and provides a great view of the city of Duluth and surrounding area. We frequently go to Enger Park to look at the flowers and enjoy a picnic. Tables are available, and the paths are paved. I love the gong.

The gate was closed but we parked on the street and walked up anyway. The views are wonderful from the scenic overlook and from the tower itself which was open. The Japanese garden had all of the bushes still wrapped in burlap and the restrooms were not open yet. Not sure when the park officially opens.

Enger Tower is a cool city park that is good to visit for young or old. Definitely one of the better views of the city and harbor from the overlook within the park. The view can be taken in with or without climbing the tower which my kids 6 and 9 wished to do. Free park to visit and easy... More
